MyGig does not currently operate in Brisbane or anywhere in Queensland. Queensland runs a labour hire licensing scheme, and until MyGig holds the required authorisation there we will not supply workers or take bookings in the state. Our Queensland launch is planned for 2027.

Does MyGig operate in Brisbane?
Not yet. MyGig operates as the authorised Employer of Record in NSW, WA, TAS and NT, and does not currently supply workers in Queensland. The Queensland launch is planned for 2027. Businesses can register interest now; workers can download the app to be notified when shifts open.
When will MyGig launch in Brisbane and Queensland?
Queensland is planned for 2027, alongside Victoria. The date depends on completing the authorisations Queensland requires of labour hire providers - no bookings will be taken before that’s done.
Does that cover the Gold Coast, Townsville and the rest of QLD?
Yes - the 2027 plan is state-wide, with Brisbane and the Gold Coast first. Register interest and tell us where you are; launch order inside Queensland will follow demand.
