Canberra: on the roadmap, honestly not there yet.

MyGig does not currently operate in Canberra. The ACT runs a labour hire licensing scheme, and until MyGig holds the required authorisation there we will not supply workers or take bookings in the territory. The ACT does not yet have an announced launch date - Victoria and Queensland (planned for 2027) come first.

Today MyGig operates as the authorised Employer of Record in NSW, WA, TAS and NT: post a shift in 60 seconds, book vetted casual workers, one flat 15% service fee, payroll and compliance carried end to end. Register your interest below to be notified when Canberra opens.

Does MyGig operate in Canberra?

No. MyGig operates as the authorised Employer of Record in NSW, WA, TAS and NT, and does not currently supply workers in the ACT. Canberra is on the roadmap but has no announced launch date.

When will MyGig come to Canberra?

No date has been announced. Victoria and Queensland are planned for 2027; the ACT’s timing will follow demand. Register interest below - it directly shapes the post-2027 launch order.

I hire in Canberra and Sydney - can I use MyGig?

For your Sydney (or any NSW, WA, TAS, NT) sites, yes - today. For Canberra you’ll need your current arrangements until we launch there. Many businesses start with their NSW sites and extend when new states open.
