Hire event set-up crew in Brisbane: we're not taking bookings here yet.
Brisbane’s event workload is climbing towards 2032: Suncorp and the Gabba, the Convention Centre at South Bank, Riverstage and a festival calendar that runs through the dry winter. Gate, bar and bump-in crews are hired casually for each one, often at a few days’ notice.
Bump-in windows are fixed by the venue, not by you: crew size is the only lever, so book exactly the hands the site plan needs. No formal tickets are typically required to start; vetting covers identity, references and role skills.
MyGig is not taking bookings in Brisbane yet, and we would rather say so than let you plan around a service that is not there. Queensland is planned for 2027. Where we do operate (NSW, WA, TAS and NT), businesses post shifts and book vetted casual event set-up crew for one flat 15% service fee, with MyGig as the Employer of Record carrying payroll, super and workers compensation. Register your interest and we will tell you the moment Brisbane opens.
