Retail Assistant jobs in Melbourne: MyGig isn't live here yet.
Melbourne retail runs from the Bourke Street core and Chadstone, the country’s biggest centre, to strip shopping on every second main road. Its casual staffing market is correspondingly large, with Christmas, sales and event weekends driving the sharpest floor and night-fill peaks.
Retail assistant shifts run seven days with real weekend penalty rates, and every centre in the country has floors that need covering. No formal tickets are typically required to start; vetting covers identity, references and role skills.
We don't offer shifts in Melbourne yet, and this page won't pretend otherwise. Victoria is planned for 2027. Today MyGig operates as the authorised Employer of Record in NSW, WA, TAS and NT.
